Single Shaft Shredder For Sale Functional Principle

Material feeding — Waste material (plastics, wood, rubber, waste containers, large blocks, etc.) is loaded into the machine via the feed hopper.
Hydraulic pusher feed — A hydraulically-driven pusher gently but firmly pushes the material toward the rotating shaft to ensure continuous contact with the blades.
Rotation and cutting — The motor drives the main shaft (rotor) so that the moving blades rotate and pass against the fixed blade. As material is forced between the moving and fixed blades, it is sheared, torn, and crushed.
Size regulation by screen — Underneath the cutting chamber there is a screen or sieve. Only shredded fragments small enough pass through the screen. Oversized pieces remain inside for further shredding until they reach the required size.
Discharge of shredded output — Once particles pass through the screen, the shredded material is discharged via conveyor, screw conveyor, or other discharge mechanisms for collection or subsequent processing.
