Applications of X Ray Sorter

Non-ferrous metal mixture

Copper-aluminum separation

Scenario: Copper and aluminum mixed particles after electronic waste (such as radiators, motor windings) is broken.

Principle: The X-ray absorption rate of copper (density 8.96g/cm³) and aluminum (2.7g/cm³) is significantly different, and XRT can accurately distinguish.


Separation of lead-zinc ore

Application: After crushing lead and zinc ore, XRT separates lead concentrate from zinc concentrate by density difference (11.34g/cm³ lead, 7.14g/cm³ zinc).


Aluminum-magnesium alloy sorting

Case study: In automotive scrap aluminum-magnesium alloy parts, XRT can identify low melting point magnesium (1.74g/cm³) and eliminate it to avoid melting accidents.


Tin-copper ore separation

Technology: Tin ore (density 7.3g/cm³) and copper ore (8.96g/cm³) present different gray values in X-ray images to achieve accurate separation.
